Tomara Decosta

Tomara DeCosta was raised in Darlington, South Carolina, and moved to North Carolina in 1999. She has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, including roles as a Certified Medical Coder, Nursing Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician, and more than six years as a Clinical Research Manager in a Contract Research Organization (CRO). As a former business owner, she successfully operated NC Reflexology for several years, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to holistic health. 

Demonstrating her dedication to public service, Tomara ran as a Republican candidate for city council. She is also a proud mother of two college-age children and has mastered critical skills such as complex problem solving, data analysis, and strategic planning. Her diverse background and unwavering dedication make her a dynamic professional and community leader.
