Ravi Gaddampally

My name is Ravinder Gaddampally, and I am excited to share my journey with you today.

Early Life and Education

I was born in a small village in the southern part of India, where I grew up in a conservative family rooted in strong values and traditions. My elementary and middle school education was completed in my village, after which I moved to a nearby town for high school.

I earned my Bachelor of Engineering degree from Gulbarga University in Karnataka State, India. This educational foundation set the stage for my career.

Professional Journey

I began my professional journey by providing technical training to high school graduates, helping them develop critical skills for their future. Later, I transitioned into the field of software programming and development, where I found my passion.

In 1999, I was given an incredible opportunity to work in the United States as a software developer. I came here legally as a temporary worker and had the privilege of working with various clients through my employer, gaining invaluable experience.

Later, I established my own company, Eminence IT Solutions Inc, specializing in IT consulting and software solutions. I have been successfully running this business since its inception and serve as the President and CEO.

In 2006, I achieved a significant milestone by becoming a permanent resident of the United States through employment. In 2012, I proudly became a U.S. citizen, embracing the responsibilities and opportunities of my new home.

Leadership

Leadership has always been a part of my life. Coming from a family deeply involved in leadership roles within our village, I witnessed many community leaders visiting our home to discuss issues and development projects with my father and grandfather. This early exposure inspired me to take on leadership roles myself.

Some of my key leadership roles include:

• Currently serving as a National Vice President for the Global Telangana Association since 2022 which is a global organization across the world for the Telangana community.
• Currently serving as an Olympic Sports District Vice President and Rugby Sports Authority District President in Nalgonda District, Telangana State, India, since 2022.
• Served as Regional Coordinator for the American Telugu Association, a prominent national organization in the USA.
• Acted as a Board of Trustee for the Telangana Development Forum (TDF), a prominent national organization in the USA.
• During my undergraduate studies, I was elected as a class representative and eventually became the Student General Secretary of my department.
• I led the student organization during my college years, successfully resolving issues related to student facilities, hostels, and other essential services.
• In high school, I served as School President.

Political Life:

My political journey has been a natural extension of my commitment to service and leadership:

• Started as a poll greet volunteer for the Republican Party in 2022.
• Joined the Western Wake Republican Club (WWRC) in 2023 and continues to be an active member.
• Acted as campaign manager for Subba Reddy, who ran for the Morrisville Town Council, making a significant community impact despite a narrow loss.
• Built a strong bond between the Indian community and the Republican Party since 2023, encouraging political engagement.
• Recruited Indian American volunteers to support Republican campaigns.
• Participated in door-knocking and literature distribution efforts, working closely with local leaders.
• Appointed precinct chair for 05-07, the largest precinct in Wake County, also managing precinct 05-08.
• Selected as an RNC 2024 delegate representing North Carolina.
• Hosted a fundraising event for Governor candidate Mark Robinson, raising $15,000 and attracting a large gathering.
• Organized a meet and greet for Michele Morrow, Superintendent of Public Instruction, with Indian American families.
• Provided election support funds for Congressman Brad Knott, Allan Swain, Greg Murphy, and Labor Commissioner Luke Farley.
• Offered financial assistance to school board candidates and supported their campaigns.
• Created social media content supporting Republican candidates from federal to state levels.
• In India, actively participated in the Telangana statehood movement, working as part of the Telangana Region NRI group and educating people on the importance of a separate state.
• Worked with the TRS Party in Nagarjuna Sagar Constituency, contributing to public awareness and service initiatives.

Charity Services:

In addition to my professional and leadership roles, I am deeply committed to charitable initiatives through my family's nonprofit organization in India, the GRR Foundation. This foundation, established with our own resources, focuses on uplifting and supporting communities in the Nagarjuna Sagar constituency of Nalgonda District, Telangana State.

Some of the key activities undertaken by the GRR Foundation includes:

1. Rural Drinking Water Supply:
   • Provided essential drinking water facilities to remote tribal villages, addressing a critical need in underserved areas.

1. Youth Sports Activities:
   • Organized and supported sports programs in various villages to encourage youth engagement and foster community spirit.

1. Financial Aid for Tribal Students:
   • Offered financial assistance to underprivileged tribal students to support their education and help them achieve their academic goals.

1. Support for Disabled Individuals:
   • Donated a three-wheeler vehicle to a disabled student, enabling them to overcome mobility challenges and access opportunities.

1. Marriage Gifts for Underprivileged Families:
   • Provided financial support and marriage gifts to underprivileged families for weddings in tribal areas, easing their financial burden.

1. Fundraising for Disabled Students:
   • Successfully raised funds to assist disabled students in purchasing essential tools and resources for their education and daily needs.

Additionally, the foundation has supported:

• Rural Development Programs: Implemented initiatives to improve infrastructure and living conditions in rural communities.
• Healthcare Aid: Offered support for medical treatments and hospital expenses for those unable to afford necessary care.

My journey, from a small village in India to becoming a successful entrepreneur, community leader, and active participant in politics, reflects my dedication to service and the belief that hard work and commitment can drive meaningful change.
