Becki Lanser

Born and raised in the Washington, DC area, Becki attended public schools before becoming a passionate advocate for education reform. A proponent of Classical Christian Education, she homeschooled her two children using this approach. Deeply committed to her faith, Becki managed her church's Children’s Ministry for a decade and finds joy in creating quilts for chemo patients and memory quilts for their families. She has been happily married to Jeff for 37 years and is the proud mom of Tyler and Kristen (Kat) and grandma to Alice and Arthur.

Professional Experience
Becki’s diverse work history spans multiple industries, including:

• Licensed Cosmetologist (and yes, she jokes, "Don’t judge my hair!")
• Human Resources at the U.S. Secret Service, Washington, DC
• Administrative Assistant at Harris Corporation, a defense contractor in Melbourne, FL
• Manufacturing Engineering Roles at Honeywell, Albuquerque, NM, where she managed clerical teams, performed time and motion studies, and collaborated with software engineers on database development.

Political and Community Involvement
Becki is an active member of her community and a dedicated volunteer in the political sphere:

• Served as a precinct worker, Vice Chair, Chair, and Regional Coordinator Assistant for Western Cary/Morrisville, overseeing 18 precincts and leading grassroots efforts like door-to-door canvassing and voter outreach.
• Coordinated election mailings, postcard writing campaigns, and material distribution for local elections.
• Assistant Treasurer for the Western Wake Republican Club, helping manage finances, fundraising, and event logistics.
• Participated in national efforts like TrumpForce 47, assisting at rallies and engaging with the public.

Advocacy in Education
Over the past two years, Becki has attended Wake County Public School Board meetings to understand and address challenges in the school system. She invites others to join her in improving education for future generations.
